New Year's Linky Party

Bring on the confetti and horns - it's a PARTY!  And a crafting opportunity!!! And it's a chance to share your New Year's joy with others!!  It's the first Bitten By The Bug 2 New Year's Linky Party!!!!

Our Design Team is still elbow deep in holiday happenings, but we do not want for you to miss the opportunity to do a bit of New Year paper crafting while spreading good will and New Year joy throughout the Internet and blog-sphere.

We invite you to make a New Year's card or project using any Cricut cartridge and post photos on your blog.  Then link your project under this post.  But that's not all.  We are asking you to comment on one another's projects to spread your new year cheer.  We are hoping that each of our readers joins in the linky party and helps to share the New Year joy!!!

A few faithful members of the BBTB2 Design Team have created a bit of inspiration to get you started (thank you darling ladies).  And I know I am early, but I would like to wish you all a very
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Tag It 2 - Last Minute Inspiration

Hello friends, Susan here!  Christmas is almost upon us and I know we are all busy with preparations for our families' holiday celebrations.  I asked the Design Team to offer you a bit of last minute inspiration as you tackle those last minute holiday tasks..... Baking, wrapping, stalking the UPS man, baking... wrapping.... Okay, maybe that is just my life right now!   If, like me, you are still wrapping and making tags, the DT has crafted up some fun ideas to help you finish.

We will not be adding the linky this week as we want for you to focus on your families, and because we want to focus on our families too. Hence, the inspiration only challenge!  Next week we do have a New Year's link party planned and we do hope you will be back for that.

From the Bitten by the Bug 2 Design Team, past and present, from the UK members and the US members, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

It's a Winner (just a LITTLE late) of the Christmas Card Challenge!

signature

Well ladies, I'm FINALLY getting around to posting the winner of the Christmas card challenge (only a few weeks late, lol!).  Between the Nyquil and the codeine cough syrup to medicate the monster cold I caught, I kind of completely lost track of this post!  Yikes!  Although I had a difficult time choosing, we do have a winner.  Sarah's lovely card with the ice skates from the Christmas Noel cartridge caught my eye.  It is just beautiful in every way!

Sarah, you can email me at cricutcrazyscrapper at gmail dot com for your winner's badge!  Again, I apologize for the serious lateness of this post!

Tag, You're It - Holiday Gift Tag Challenge

This is my first time hosting a challenge for BBTB2, and I am happy to challenge everyone to a fun, simple project that you can use on all of those Christmas and Holiday presents that need to be wrapped!

During December, it seems like everyone has list longer than Santa's, but this year I am getting a few things squared away before the busiest time of the season hits us. I Cricut-cut my gift tags using Winter Frolic cartridge, and love the clean look -- plenty of room for names and easy to attach to presents - just tie or tape down. How easy is that?

Laura - Winter Frolic

For more inspiration, check out what the talented BBTB2 Design Team has created -- what a great final touch on any gift! Don't forget to tell us which cricut cart(s) you used :)
