Nativity and Menorah Challenge

Happy Christmas Week crafters!  Susan here to introduce our Cricut Christmas challenge.   With Christmas and Hanukkah beginning this week, I thought this challenge should be all about the basics:  the Menorah and the Nativity. My challenge for the Design Team - and you - is to create a project that includes a Cricut cut Menorah or Nativity.  Our Design Team has created some fabulous and inspirational projects below.  I hope that their ideas inspire you join our challenge.

We will be taking a small break to celebrate the holidays with our friends and families, but we will return with a new challenge - and a fun announcement - on January 2. Therefore you will have two weeks to participate in this challenge.

We wish each of you a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hanukkah!

Susan here today, filling in for Caroline, to announce the winner of the Christmas Word Challenge. We had so many cute, cute entries that truly had a difficult time picking just one winner.  Ultimately I chose this adorable Santa card by Suzanne at I Luv Scrapping Too.  I love the brick work, the fireplace, that adorable Santa, and of course the HO HO HO sentiment.  Congratulations, Suzanne!  I love this card!!

Hello, it is Caroline here with the challenge for this week.  I thought it would be fun to use wording in our card or project, and for it to be the main theme.  There are so many words in the Cricut Design software.  I bet you can come up with something really special.  Make sure the wording has something to do with Christmas.  Check out what my amazing design sisters have come up with:  Absolutely beautiful!!

Christmas Wreath

Welcome to this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Cricut Challenge. For those who may be new, each week we select a Cricut image or theme and challenge the Design Team, and you, to create a project using that cut.  This week our very talented designer, Valentyna, chose a Cricut cut WREATH as our challenge.  You can use any wreath from any Cricut cartridge or Cricut digital to create your project. Thanksgiving is Full of Thanks

Hello Friends, Susan here to introduce this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Thanksgiving week Cricut Challenge.  Because it is Thanksgiving week in the United States, I thought this would be a perfect time for a Cricut word challenge.  I asked the Design Team to use the word THANKS, THANKFUL, or THANKSGIVING on a project. We, each of us, has so much in our lives to be thankful for, and I wanted to share that with each of you. I hope that each of you finds time this week to create your own Thanks filled project and to share with us. From the Design Team and myself, I wish each of you a happy Thanksgiving!!

Project of the Week Winner: Nature Calls

I see orange, I see brown, I see all the fall colors.   Isn't the color palate for fall great for papercrafters?  I loved seeing the creations our followers used for the Nature Calls - Use a Cricut cut of something found in nature related to Christmas or Thanksgiving.   The winner I selected is Sunshine Honey Bee and her big-eyed-owl tag. It's great for a present adornment or place setting at Thanksgiving dinner.   Congrats Sunshine - I love your creativeness.  Here is how she made it.   Enjoy-Maureen

Anything Goes Thankgiving Project

Hi everyone, it's Michelle here hosting our challenge this week.  It's time to turn our attention to the holidays and Thanksgiving is coming right up!  It is my favorite holiday, because it's all about being thankful, food and family.  I chose an open-ended Thanksgiving theme for the week which should leave lots of room for creativity, whether that be Thanksgiving decor, place cards for the meal, cards, or scrapbook layouts.  I debated on making some decorative items for the table, but paper goods don't last long around here with three teenage boys and a crazy cat, so I made a layout for the scrapbook.  I always take lots of family pictures of us cooking and then try to get a shot of the table with all the delicious food right before we eat.  The design team has some beautiful projects below to give you some inspiration!  You can link up a new Cricut project below.
