Christmas Wreath

Welcome to this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Cricut Challenge. For those who may be new, each week we select a Cricut image or theme and challenge the Design Team, and you, to create a project using that cut.  This week our very talented designer, Valentyna, chose a Cricut cut WREATH as our challenge.  You can use any wreath from any Cricut cartridge or Cricut digital to create your project. The Design Team has done a great job of offering outstanding projects featuring wreaths.  We hope that you are inspired to join this week's challenge.

Thanksgiving is Full of Thanks

Hello Friends, Susan here to introduce this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 Thanksgiving week Cricut Challenge.  Because it is Thanksgiving week in the United States, I thought this would be a perfect time for a Cricut word challenge.  I asked the Design Team to use the word THANKS, THANKFUL, or THANKSGIVING on a project. We, each of us, has so much in our lives to be thankful for, and I wanted to share that with each of you. I hope that each of you finds time this week to create your own Thanks filled project and to share with us. From the Design Team and myself, I wish each of you a happy Thanksgiving!!

Project of the Week Winner: Nature Calls

I see orange, I see brown, I see all the fall colors.   Isn't the color palate for fall great for papercrafters?  I loved seeing the creations our followers used for the Nature Calls - Use a Cricut cut of something found in nature related to Christmas or Thanksgiving.   The winner I selected is Sunshine Honey Bee and her big-eyed-owl tag. It's great for a present adornment or place setting at Thanksgiving dinner.   Congrats Sunshine - I love your creativeness.  Here is how she made it.   Enjoy-Maureen

Anything Goes Thankgiving Project

Hi everyone, it's Michelle here hosting our challenge this week.  It's time to turn our attention to the holidays and Thanksgiving is coming right up!  It is my favorite holiday, because it's all about being thankful, food and family.  I chose an open-ended Thanksgiving theme for the week which should leave lots of room for creativity, whether that be Thanksgiving decor, place cards for the meal, cards, or scrapbook layouts.  I debated on making some decorative items for the table, but paper goods don't last long around here with three teenage boys and a crazy cat, so I made a layout for the scrapbook.  I always take lots of family pictures of us cooking and then try to get a shot of the table with all the delicious food right before we eat.  The design team has some beautiful projects below to give you some inspiration!  You can link up a new Cricut project below.

Nature Calls Thanksgiving or Christmas Project

Hello Followers:   Halloween is over, most of the leaves have fallen from the trees, and I've already been asked to make a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner.  I have completed my Thanksgiving and fall cards, but haven't started on the handmade Christmas cards yet.   I always make several handmade cards for special people in addition to printing up a family photo card.   Are your holiday cards done yet?  Well - here's a little tickle to get ya goin' in the right direction -- My choice for the challenge this week is "Nature Calls", use a Cricut cut of something found in nature for a Thanksgiving or Christmas card/project.  It could be a pumpkin, snow, pine-cone, twigs, birds, or a tree, etc.   Show off your talent and link up a picture of your creation below.    Enjoy - Maureen
