Good Morning Everyone. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday and recovering from Christmas.  I'd like to take this time to annouce the winner of the Joys of the Season Wreath Challenge.  But first, a HUGE thanks to everyone who participated.  The decision to pick just one winner was truly difficult.....all the projects were so amazing.

So without further ado, the winner of the challenge is.........

Kate from Small Bits of Paper with this awesome card.  The reason I chose Kate's card is because it shows such fabulous creativity and detail and the sentiment is just perfect.

Kate, please email me at justmoss@optonline.net with your email address so I can send you the BBTB2 Winner badge.

Thank you, again, everyone, for playing along.

Joys of the Season Wreath

Good Morning Everyone....it's Julia here and I am thrilled to be your host this week for the BBTB2 challenge. As Christmas is fast approaching....only 12 more days. For this week's challenge, I chose the wreath from the Joys of the Season cartridge. You can choose anything you'd like from page 66 of the manual. If you don't have JOTS, then choose something from a cartridge that you do have that resembles a wreath.

This Christmas season I want nothing more than world peace...that is what I am hoping and praying for. Unfortunately, it's not something money can buy. I chose the wreath because they have so much history and symbolism associated with them. They are usually made from evergreens and symbolize strength, as evergreens last even throughout the harshest winters. The circular shape of the wreath is seen as a common symbol of eternity. The use of wreaths varies by culture, tradition and religions and dates back thousands of years.

Please join us this week for this challenge....I would love to see your creations and what the wreath inspires in you. This is what was inspired by our wonderfully talented Design Team:

Winter Frolic- Santa

Hi everyone! Welcome to another Bitten by the Bug2 Monday! It's Joanna here and I have the privilege of being your host this week and picking the challenge! I always get super excited when it's 'my turn' here! Well, since we are finally in December, I thought it would be perfect to start the 1st challenge of the month off with a Santa. So the challenge this week is to use the Santa from the Winter Frolic cartridge (pg.53 in the handbook) or you can use ANY Santa from ANY cartridge if you don't have Winter Frolic and you want to play along. The DT girls have some great holiday inspiration for you all and I think it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! :)

I hope you all like what you see and I hope you all can play along with us, we love seeing what you create!

Winter Frolic - Ornament and Deck the Halls Phrase

Welcome Friends to our last challenge of November. Jeri here to set our challenge. Before I tell you what we'd like to see, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our faithful followers. It is so nice of you to check in each week, we appreciate it. Now that Thanksgiving is over and it's "officially" the holiday season, I really wanted to come up with a challenge for the season. So I thought to myself, now that the turkey's been cooked, the food's been eaten, the football games have been played, the Black Friday shopping is over...what will everyone be doing...decking their halls. So the challenge this week is to use the Winter Frolic cartridge. I'd like to see you COMBINE the phrase Deck the Halls (pg. 64) with either of the ornaments on pages 64 or 65. Now remember, if you don't have the Winter Frolic cartridge you can use another font from another cartridge to make the phrase Deck the Halls and COMBINE it with an ornament from any other cartridge. This will be my first opportunity to choose a winner of the challenge, so I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Hello Kitty Greetings

Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a great week and for our American friends, I hope you already have your turkey in the fridge defrosting. If not, get it in there pronto!

This week, I've asked the Design Team to use the Santa dressed Hello Kitty from Hello Kitty Greetings cart. Christmas is just around the corner and if you haven't started already, it's time to start thinking about the holidays. I don't get to use this cart too often, so it was fun to dust it off and play.

Please play along with us. Link your creation using McLinky below and be sure to mention BBTB2 in your blog post! If you don't have the Hello Kitty Greetings cart, please use whatever you have that is similar.
