Graphically Speaking - In Style challenge

Hello old and new friends,

Let me introduce myself…

I first bought a Cricut in May of 2008. I saw a beautiful card made with the Indie Art cart and I was hooked. I love this machine so much and I don’t know how I ever created without it.

Sometime during the summer of 2008, I discovered Regina’s Bitten by the Bug site. Wow! What an incredible source of inspiration! I bookmarked that blog and visited every week. I really wanted to be a part of that amazing team.

In October 2008, I was asked to be a guest designer for BBTB. I was so nervous! I guess Regina liked what I did because she asked me to stay and be a permanent part of the team. I was absolutely honored.

Over the last 14 months, I’ve watched and have been amazed with the creativity of this team. I am in awe of their talents. This is why when Regina said that she had to step down, there was no way I could let BBTB end. It is a constant source of inspiration to me and I hope it is for you, too.

Thank you for your continuing support.

Heather Binnie

Now, for this week’s challenge, the designers were asked to use the In Style cut from the Graphically Speaking cart.

I love (as usual) what each of the designers have created this week:

  22. First visit to your blog! Oh, I am going to have to get the CART! I'm still new to the bug, so I am slowly learning about it.
I have monthly card contests on my blog for charity. Please stop and then, send a card! You can win some fabulous items. Thank you for taking over the challenge (even though I am a newbie)

  23. I am new to the Cricut. I just got mine for Christmas and have only cut a few shapes. I have the Graphically Speaking cartridge, so I can try to play along but I have a zillion questions!
    1) When are the challenges due?
    2) Where are the finished projects? Do we post in the comments? I don't see anyone with a finished project?
    3) How long does a challenge run? For instance if I don't have the cartridge, would I have time to get the cartridge?
    4) I'm guessing it can be a card or a scrapbook page?
    5) Is it okay if I use my Splitcoast Gallery to post or do I have to have a seperate blog?

    Thank you!
    Melissa

  24. Hi Melissa, Congratulations on your new toy!

The challenges run for two weeks each. We will also have contests once a month or so. There is really no due date for the challenges. The contests will have a due date but they'll be clearly stated.

You can see the other finished projects by clicking on the McKlinky list. You can also add your project to that list. You can use your blog as a link or any other on-line gallery you may have (yes, your Splitcoast Gallery is fine).

Your project can be anything you want it to be. Cards, layouts, boxes...anything.

We're looking forward to seeing your creations! Thanks!
