Hey guys. It's Donna, filling in for Shelly, who has no computer access because of her impending move. She did, however, call me with the winner of her tag challenge. We all agree the entries were stellar and Shelly had a hard time choosing, but finally, after much deliberation, her choice and the winner of our coveted POW badge is Monica L. with her adorable owl tag. Fabulous work, girlie! Please email me at dlmundinger (at)yahoo(dot)com and I'll send the badge right out to you.
Oh, and BTW, I hope all of you have had a chance to read the additional rule we've added to the BBTB2 about turning off word verification. Although it's totally up to you, it makes it very difficult for your friends and followers to comment on your blog. The new double word scrambled WV is nearly impossible to read for many of us, so we can't guarantee comments from the Design Team if you have it turned on. If you need help with turning it off, you can read my (rant, oops!) post HERE. Thanks for your consideration and understanding.
OMG!!! We have to apologize to all of you from BBTB2. Because all of the Designers are also able to post on this blog, apparantly we don't see WV on our own blog! The blog was set up by Heather originally and probably had WV as a default (so you new bloggers who think you don't have it, may want to check under the "Settings" and then "commenting" tabs). Thank you so much Chris for keeping at it. Yikes! How embarrassing! All fixed now.
Congratulations Monica. What a sweet tag!
ReplyDelete(I am curious as to why this blog still has the double word verification turned on?)
Congrats to Monica. What a cute tag.
ReplyDeleteI just left congrats to Monica and I have no idea where Chris is seeing the word verif on the BBTB2 blog. I encountered none.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Monica. So glad you played along.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and comment again and see if it comes up this time. And yes again, when I'm commenting here on this blog I get word verification. I don't mean to be a pest or to sound like I'm complaining. I just thought you'd want to know. It seems so strange that other people can comment without it on here. If it's just me that gets it, you certainly don't have to worry about it. : ) : ) : )
ReplyDeleteI get it too.....it pops up when I comment.
DeleteThanks Crystal. I'm so glad it's not just me. It's weird that it's not for everyone.
DeleteI agree...... I have never had the WV on my blog. I visit so many blogs daily and if they have the WV...sometimes I'm just too lazy to even try to comment. Thanks and love this blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm testing to see if it comes up.
ReplyDeletenope, I don't get word verification.
ReplyDeletecongrats monica!!!
ReplyDeleteso glad you posted about WV donna!! it is driving everyone nuts!!!
btw: this blog has it turned ON!! hope you fix that soon :)
will try to read the words and hope this posts :)
so glad to find out i'm not the only one who hates word verification. i've even started unsubscribing to blogs that continue to use it. i find it to annoying.
ReplyDeletecongratulations monica!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm so excited!:) Thanks for a fun challenge ladies, and all the sweet comments:)
ReplyDeletePeace, Love, & Cricut Hug's!
Monica L.
Donna-I read about how you didn't see word verification on this blog and went to check my blog and realized I had it too and didn't know it! (since apparently I don't see it either!!!!) Your explanation of how to check and turn it off was much appreciated!
