Shamrock

Happy March everyone ! This is Lori and it was my turn to select the challenge for this week. Since St. Patrick's Day is coming up I thought it would be lots of fun to find a SHAMROCK and do a project featuring one of my favorite colors ..... GREEN ! There are several cartridges that have a shamrock - Designer's Calendar, Give a Hoot, A Child's Year, Paper Doll Dress Up (to name just a few) ..... So take a look at all the FANTASTIC projects the Design Team has come up with and come play along with us ! Please add your project down below and do make sure to use a CRICUT cartridge to be included in our Project of the Week challenge !!!

Carole Lowe Beath - Give A Hoot

Heart Couple Challenge Winner

Hello everyone, Susan here to share the project of the week winner from the Couple Heart challenge.  We had so many lovely entries featuring not only Valentine themes, but also romance, wedding and anniversary card ideas.  However Gerda fron Gerda's Card Creations blew me away with her "Valentijn Explosion Box" (Valentine Explosion Box)

Congratulations Gerda on this lovely work of art!  I am so thankful that you shared it with us at Bitten by the Bug 2!

Any Cartridge Monogram Challenge

Happy Monday, it's Donna here again with a really simple challenge in which everyone can participate. I decided upon a Monogram Challenge this week using any cartridge. Monograms make such a personal statement and are so versatile. They are perfect for invitations, sending a thank you, or just dropping a line. They can be formal or fun and make fabulous gifts, so let's see those monograms. We're also just thrilled with the fab entries to our Boots challenge and remind you you still have another week for that one as well. Thanks for following our rules.

I also must apologize again to our followers and thank you for being persistant about the word verification comment on BBTB2. We're happy to say we've corrected the problem and are quite embarrassed that we never actually went into the Settings/Comment area thinking that if we didn't see WV, no one did. OOOps! Our bad! All fixed! Hope you all do the same. :D

Tag Challenge Winner and a Little Plea

Hey guys. It's Donna, filling in for Shelly, who has no computer access because of her impending move. She did, however, call me with the winner of her tag challenge. We all agree the entries were stellar and Shelly had a hard time choosing, but finally, after much deliberation, her choice and the winner of our coveted POW badge is Monica L. with her adorable owl tag. Fabulous work, girlie! Please email me at dlmundinger (at)yahoo(dot)com and I'll send the badge right out to you.

Oh, and BTW, I hope all of you have had a chance to read the additional rule we've added to the BBTB2 about turning off word verification. Although it's totally up to you, it makes it very difficult for your friends and followers to comment on your blog. The new double word scrambled WV is nearly impossible to read for many of us, so we can't guarantee comments from the Design Team if you have it turned on. If you need help with turning it off, you can read my (rant, oops!) post HERE. Thanks for your consideration and understanding.

OMG!!! We have to apologize to all of you from BBTB2. Because all of the Designers are also able to post on this blog, apparantly we don't see WV on our own blog! The blog was set up by Heather originally and probably had WV as a default (so you new bloggers who think you don't have it, may want to check under the "Settings" and then "commenting" tabs). Thank you so much Chris for keeping at it. Yikes! How embarrassing! All fixed now.

Nate's ABC's/Boots

Welcome to Bitten By the Bug2 and our weekly challenge. It's Carole, and I am the hostess for the week. I asked the design team to create from Nate's ABC's and to use the garden boot cut. There are many boots on other cartridges: Create a Critter, Everyday Paper Dolls, Freshly Picked, and there are boots that can be decorated with the garden theme. I picked this cut because we are so anxious for Spring to arrive. You do not need to have the selected cartridge. Please join in on our challenge, upload your boot project through Mr. Linky, link back to the specific card on your blog and give BBTB2 a mention. Please make your project a new creation.
